WOW Cataclysm Features Two New Races
World of Warcraft (WOW) just keeps getting better! The third WOW expansion, Cataclysm is scheduled to be released sometime this year (2010). Rumor has it that the release will occur in the Spring.
All real WOW players know what they’ll be doing this summer…..playing Cataclysm! There’s a lot of hot new stuff. There’ll be new WOW zones in Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, The Great Sea, South Seas and the Elemental Plane and there’ll be two new races!
The Alliance is getting Worgens and the Horde is getting Goblins.
The “official descriptions of the WOW races are:
Worgens: “The worgen are a race of feral wolf-beasts whose very name inspires fear. Theories regarding their history abound, yet the worgen's origins remain steeped in mystery.”
Goblins: “Originally the slaves of jungle trolls on the Isle of Kezan, the goblin race was forced to mine kaja'mite ore out of the volcanic bowels of Mount Kajaro.”
Classes
· Classes for Worgens will be death knight, druid, hunter, mage, priest, rogue, warlock and warrior.
· Classes for Goblins will be Death knight, hunter, mage, priest, rogue, shaman, warlock and warrior.
Languages:
· Worgens will speak “Worgen” and their secondary language will be “Common”.
· Goblins will speak “Goblin” and their secondary language will be “Orcish”.
Starting Points:
· Worgens will start in the Duskhaven and Gilneas zones.
· Goblins will start in the Kezan and Shipwreck Shore and possibly Lost Isle zones.
Leaders:
* Worgen’s leader will be King Genn Greymane.
* Goblin’s leader will be Trade Prince Maldy (we think).
