AvCare is a rogue security program that sneaks through the backdoor and places itself on the user's computer without their knowledge. Like most other malware, this one is created by hackers with the intent to fool you into purchasing a useless product.

This is done so that hopefully the user will become so concerned over the security of their computer, they will download the scan that is offered. Once this is done, the user will see the results of the scan, and supposedly which files are infected. These results are false, as AvCare has no ability to scan your PC. Therefore, it cannot detect parasites or security threats, and it certainly cannot remove them.
Malware like this has the ability to place even more infections on your PC, which will affect the performance of your computer. You may notice that your system is running slow, or that your browser redirects to unknown websites. Incessant pop-up ads are another annoyance.
